Thank you for reaching out to us in regard to our Italian vacation on the Star Clipper cruise. As this was our maiden voyage, we were truly amazed how smoothly our sail went.
The crew members went above and beyond our expectations and we were always greeted with a warm welcome and a smile.
Our cabin was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the warm hospitality from the staff.
Each day we were delighted with the assortment of food choices as well as the refreshing & tasty “drink of the day”.
We were also happy with the variety of daily excursions offered. We certainly took advantage of the tenders as this was a great way to experience the many Seaside Ports and islands of Italy.
On board, we enjoyed the pool & sundeck, the relaxing massages, the piano lounge, the mast climbing, the talent show, as well as music and dancing. Every day was filled with new adventures.
It was also wonderful to have a special guest appearance by Chef & Cookbook author Micheline Lombardi. We enjoyed the onboard cooking classes as she demonstrated how to prepare her authentic Italian Country Cuisine. This was a delicious afternoon treat!
Steve, we are very happy with the service you provided as our travel agent. You did an awesome job preparing our travel documents and you always took care of our travel questions.
We can now laugh with amazement when we thought we missed the last tender to take photos of the Grandeur of the Star Clipper with each of her masts raised to the heavens.
You came through in a clutch and pulled a few strings with the Captain and somehow got us out on another tender to take the adored photos of the Star Clipper in all her Glory on the Mediterranean Sea!
We are delighted to have met you and we look forward to sailing with you & our friends again next Summer in Southern France. Thank you for making our first sail so memorable.
